Privacy & Honesty.

"We value your privacy almost as much as we value a properly pulled espresso shot. Almost."

1. The Basics

Frankly is a review site. We don't have a login system, we don't ask for your email, and we don't have a newsletter that will clog up your inbox with "exciting updates" you never asked for. We are here to review products, not collect your life story.

2. Cookies & Local Storage

We use Local Storage to remember things like which "realm" you prefer (Beauty, Games, etc.). This stays on your device and doesn't get sent to our servers.

However, we do use Vercel Analytics to see how many people are visiting the site. This data is anonymous and helps us realize that nobody is actually reading our 2,000-word deep-dives into board game cardboard quality.

3. Affiliate Disclosure

This is the important part. Frankly is a participant in various affiliate programs (including Amazon Associates). When you click a link on this site and buy something, we get a small commission at no extra cost to you.

These retailers use cookies to track that you came from us. Without these cookies, we don't get paid, and the "Cynics" have to get real jobs. We don't want that. You don't want that.

4. Third-Party Links

Our reviews contain links to other websites. Once you leave Frankly, we have no control over what those sites do with your data. They might be much less cynical than us, or much more invasive. Read their policies if you're worried.
